1. Purpose of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the AI-powered patent practice platform service ("Service") provided by Patenty Inc. ("Company"), and establish the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.

2. Definitions

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  • "Company": Refers to Patenty Inc., the provider of the Service.
  • "Service": Refers to the AI-powered patent practice support platform provided by the Company, including patent specification drafting, prior art search, office action response, and related features.
  • "User": Refers to members and non-members who receive the Service provided by the Company under these Terms.
  • "Content": Refers to all forms of information or materials that users create, write, or upload through the Service.

3. Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms

These Terms apply between the Company and Users regarding the use of the Service.

The Company may amend these Terms when necessary, and amended Terms take effect after prior notice.

4. Service Provision and Changes

Provided Services

  • AI-powered patent specification drafting support
  • Prior art search and analysis
  • Office action response solutions
  • Patent document translation and management

Service Changes

The Company may add, modify, or discontinue features to improve service quality, with prior notice as a general principle.

5. Membership Registration

Membership registration is required for service use, and accurate information must be provided.

Any changes to information provided during registration must be updated immediately.

Registration Restrictions

  • Minors under 14 years of age
  • Previously disqualified members
  • Provision of false information

6. User Obligations

Users must comply with the following:

  • Compliance with relevant laws and terms when using the Service
  • Prohibition of infringement of others' intellectual property rights
  • Secure management of personal and account information
  • Prohibition of acts that disrupt normal service operation
  • Prohibition of commercial use without prior Company consent

7. Service Usage

Service Hours

The Service is provided 24/7 year-round in principle, but may be temporarily suspended in unavoidable cases such as system maintenance.

Usage Restrictions

  • Service restrictions upon terms violation
  • Paid service restrictions upon payment delinquency
  • Temporary restrictions to prevent system overload

8. Payment and Refund

Payment

Paid services are processed through billing key-based automatic payments and charged automatically according to subscription cycle (monthly/annual). Subscriptions can be canceled at any time without contract periods or penalties.

Refund

Full refunds are available within 7 days of subscription if credits are unused (less than 10% used). Once credit usage begins, refunds are restricted per Article 17, Paragraph 2, Item 5 of the Electronic Commerce Act. Prorated refunds for unused periods are provided upon immediate cancellation. Separately purchased credits are non-refundable.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company.

Users retain rights to content they create, but are deemed to grant the Company limited usage rights for service provision.

10. Privacy Protection

The Company protects users' personal information in accordance with relevant laws. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer

The Company is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure events such as natural disasters or system failures.

Users must verify the accuracy and completeness of information or materials obtained through the Service.
